In support of increasing rates for our interiors sheet metal work statement, Royell has added a Komatsu OBS-110-3 121 ton capacity OBI press. Providing a larger bed and higher tonnage opens more capacity for our largest punched parts.
Royell opens new Assembly and Shipping facility
To make room for new machining technology at our main campus, Royell has moved Assembly, Kit Integration, and Shipping operations into a newly renovated facility near the Everett waterfront. At 23,000 square feet, the site offers ample greenfield space for growth as Royell focuses on developing large-scale assembly activity.
First Fully-Automated Stand-Alone Machine
Fully automated production on a stand-alone machine has commenced. Using our first Robodrill equipped with a Fanuc robotic arm and a load/unload conveyor, we have begun production on two high-volume machine details in support of our interiors package. Capable of unattended overnight and weekend production, this application provides a reliable automated solution to expanding our capacity.
